has been a published writer for more than 35 years, including seven years as a reporter and editor at the South Dade News Leader in Homestead, Florida, where she found it much warmer than her current home not far from the banks of Lake Erie.
Alana writes romantic suspense, but her list of publications also includes non-fiction books. Books like: 101 Little Instructions for Surviving Your Divorce, stories in A Cup of Comfort for Divorced Women and A Cup of Comfort for Adoptive Parents, and the Clan Elves of the Bitterroot urban fantasy series (as Lyndi Alexander).
She is married to an absent-minded computer geek. Together, they have a dozen computers, seven children and a full house in northwestern Pennsylvania.
