was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Maryland and a Master’s in Education from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
She worked as an archaeologist and is now a middle school history teacher. She lives in Annapolis, Maryland with her husband, Jerry and their two dogs and one cat.
