comes from a large, high-spirited family and immersed himself in anything sci-fi from a very early age. He has been a building foreman on major capital city projects, toured on motor bikes across Australia and played rugby, experiences that have translated well into his stories.
He began his first novel on a large building site in Sydney. Some years later, he’d completed a children’s novel, and a bunch of short stories and screenplays, some of which have won international recognition. His appreciation of nature and concern for the environment, coupled with a large interest in bio-sustainable technology and practices, are some of the influences that led to the subject matter in his latest novel Haven’s End.
Greg lives on the picturesque south coast of New South Wales, Australia, together with his wife Sue and their 19-year-old twins.
